One app per trade, on laptop and phone.

Every sector has its own working day, and so its own hassle. Pick a trade: you see what the screen in the office does, what the phone on the shop floor does, and how the day runs with it.

IN THE OFFICE · THE PROJECT OVERVIEW
ON SITE · THE REPORT
APP

The extra work that is recorded on the scaffold

For a contractor a project runs for months, and the money is in the estimate and in the extra work. What gets done on top is often written down weeks later, from memory, and then exactly the substantiation the client wants to see is missing. That is the work that costs time: not the tiling, but proving that more was tiled, long after it happened.

In the office the day starts with one screen. The running projects with where they are in their lead time, this week's hours and the extra work still open. The project running over budget sits at the top, with the state of additions and omissions underneath: what is signed, what awaits approval, and which item cannot go into the progress invoice without a signature.

On site the same app is something else. The site manager does not see the overview but the action: report extra work. He picks the project, taps the item, enters the square metres, takes two photos and points to the revised drawing. One button, and the note is with the office the same morning, substantiation included.

What the agent does here: Synci turns that report into a note in the company's own layout, with the prices from its own price list, and only sends it once the project manager has read it. If the signature stays out, the reminder follows by itself. A person decides; the retyping and the chasing are gone.

Then we simply do not show an example of it yet. The way of working is the same for every trade: we sit in on a working day and build what is missing there, for the laptop and for the phone.
